Colorado. Near the eastern border with Kansas an intense thunderstorm gives vent to its immense energy. The wind picks up and lightning flashes within and above the dense, roiling clouds. Below, three towering generators spin rapidly, taking advantage of the renewable resource. The sun has just set, but the storm has effectively blocked out most of the light from the west.
