THE OLD COLE BARN

Tennessee. Just outside of Gatlinburg there's a loop road that is rich in historic old home places: cabins, barns, fences, etc. This "open-air" barn features two sides and a walk-through. The site also has the family cabin and a rail fence surrounding the meadow setting. Dogwoods were in bloom when I got this picture. This one is from my Box Mount Series, prepared without matting, glass or frame, in a modern presentation that works in many settings.
