IRON HORSE

Colorado. On the outskirts of Leadville an old locomotive from the historical Colorado & Southern Railroad line sits on display. I came in close to show the detail and sheer mass of the running gear below the boiler, above. Exaggerated post-processing heightens the contrast and textures nearly to an abstract rendering. Prints nicely to 28-inches on the long dimension. This one is from my Box Mount Series, prepared without matting, glass or frame, in a modern presentation that works in many settings. nd
