ASPEN MELLOW AUTUMN

Utah. One afternoon in early Autumn I spent part of an afternoon wandering in a grove of aspens in the Dixie National Forest in south central Utah. I had switched to a macro lens for the session and my intent was to isolate some changing leaves that formed a pleasing composition naturally. This is one of my favorites that came out of that day. It's not quite an "abstract" because we know immediately what we're seeing. But I hope this image will help us see the subject just a little differently. Prints nicely to 25 inches on the long side.
